Bottom of the Well is a 3D animated thesis short film created by Charlie Yuying Luo and Xinyu Shen at the School of Visual Arts, in the Computer Animation and Visual Effects program.

This is a story about a small mouse who fell into a dry well and tried everything to get out but failed. Feeling hopeless, a tiny seed sprouted nearby. Learning about the mouse's predicament, the seed devised a plan to assist its escape.

My role in the film was texturing, lighting, look development, character modeling, partial environment modeling, compositing, and 2d cutscene animation.
